Nestled amongst traditional boatbuilders on ‘Island Street’, in Salcombe, Salcombe Gin’s waterside distillery is one of the only gin distilleries in the world directly accessible by boat. Every bottle of their exceptional gin is carefully distilled, at the water’s edge in Salcombe, South Devon, where their passionate team have been making incredible gin and obsessing over quality, in this little piece of paradise for over a decade.
Inspired by the heroic voyages of the locally built 19th century Salcombe Fruiter sailing boats, each of their award-winning gins takes influence from their precious cargoes of the finest fresh fruits and spices carried back to British ports from around the world.
Salcombe Gin’s love for the ocean doesn’t stop at the shoreline. They’re proud to work with the Marine Conservation Society in their mission to protect and regenerate the precious ocean habitats, that inspire everything they do.

Exceptionally Smooth London Dry Gin, 44% ABV
Handcrafted at Salcombe Gin’s waterside distillery, every drop of this award-winning London dry gin is bursting with flavours of fresh red grapefruit, classic juniper and 11 further hand-picked botanicals, each selected to give you a smooth, distinct and complex taste that transports you to the coast wherever you are. ‘Start Point’ can be sipped neat or crafted into a delicious cocktail, but we believe it’s exceptionally good when served in your favourite glass, with a large measure, over plenty of ice, with a slice of red grapefruit and premium tonic water.
Rosé Sainte Marie
Mediterranean Dry Rosé Gin, 41.4% ABV
Named after the iconic ‘Sainte Marie’ lighthouse which marks the Southern entrance to the Old Port of Marseille, from where 19th century Salcombe Fruit Schooners would load citrus fruits and herbs bound for England’s ports, ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’ is a multi-award winning dry rosé gin inspired by the Mediterranean. This elegant and delicate ‘pink’ gin has fragrant notes of fresh lemon peel and Provence herbs with a natural sweetness of red fruit and a distinct perfume of white flowers and orange blossom.
